Flipped Iceberg
Photograph by Joseph Tointon. This was taken in Jökulsárlón, Iceland and captures the moment immediately after an iceberg flipped. This deep blue color is unlike anything else in the natural world, and results from densely concentrated, unoxygenated ice absorbing red light and reflecting blue.
Fuji Crystal Archival print beneath acrylic glass. Backed with aluminum dibond. Horizontal framing strips are already affixed, so the piece is ready to hang.
